Aunt Nikon
Roscoe.......
Roscoe.....our "street bum" canine "child". It is hard to believe that the people who owned him moved, left him to fend for himself. He had a daily route for food.....he knew which houses to go to for each meal. He was dirty, smelly and in bad need of a haircut. Each time we visited our friends he seemed to appear out of nowhere and we took it as a sign that he was meant to have a home with us. He's so sweet and lovable......and is now living the good life....as evidenced by the fact that he was given permission to cuddle on Mom's afghan! We found later that his original name was "Pudgy" (yuck!). His snaggle- tooth underbite made him a Roscoe to us soooooo that's what he became. He didn't have any problem with our choice. What's that saying, "call me anything, just be sure to call me for dinner"? (smile) He didn't have a bit of trouble adapting to his new "handle."
