wild and shy Green parrot in Krommenie.

There were a group of 4 in a huge willow tree, and they would allow no other bird no matter how big to stay on the tree, with one exception.. Pigeons. They used the tree like a Gymnasium.

Trying to catch them on camera was not easy, soon as they spotted you, they start to dance in and out of the branches playing peepbo

 

 

The green parrot, or parakeet, is probably one of the most unexpected avian species you can regularly spot in the Netherlands
