Seven Sisters 4

Copt Hill is an ancient burial ground near Houghton-le-Spring. Archaeological research suggests that it dates from the Mesolithic period, at least 6,000 years and possibly up to 10,000 years ago. The site is marked by six trees. Presumably there used to be a seventh tree, as they are known as the Seven Sisters.
