My first 4x10.

 

Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes, Death Valley National Park.

 

I found this scene after hiking 2.15 miles across the dunes with my 30 lb. 8x10 kit on my back. Total hike was 2.65 miles. Lots of changes to the terrain from all the water that the tropical storm remnants of hurricane Hilary dumped. For a brief time, this was the shoreline.
