35mm Film Test of Dune and Mountain
The 12,000 ft. mountain is 8 miles from the dune.
It doesn't take much wind to make the sand fly, so I could only shoot from a momentarily opened window from inside the FJ. Access is by 4x4. I want to do a study of the dunes with snow capped mountains in the background, but this is a La Niña year so the snowpack is thin. Maybe next year.
