RAOC Wedgwood Dish 1980s
This 4.5 inch diameter dish was obviously commissioned from Wedgwood by the Royal Army Ordnance Corps. It was bought as bric a brac at a British Military Hospital, Berlin fete in the 1980s when the RAOC was still extant. In 1993, the corps was absorbed into the newly formed Royal Logistic Corps. The motto is usually translated as "To The Warrior His Needs", but it is strictly speaking "His Missiles to the One Who Thunders" (i.e. Jupiter's missiles).
