Cadbury's Milk Tray 1lb net/454g
Cadbury's introduced the Milk Tray assortment in 1916, the 1lb package was introduced in 1924. Milk Tray is still going strong today. I suspect this tin dates from the 1950s - 1970s, it also gives the metric weight, whether as a result of legislation or because it is intended for export is not clear.
This is a request from my wife to include some of her tin collection.
