Traffic Collision, M4, St Julian’s Newport 3 July 2022
We had the misfortune to be caught in heavy congestion caused by a serious road traffic collision (RTC), full details of which have not yet been released. The M4 was closed between Junction 24 (Malpas) and J26 (The Coldra); we were stuck on the slip road just past the Brynglas Tunnels.
Seen on the motorway below the slip road, the end of the tail-back, the M4 having now been closed further west, with traffic diverted through Newport.
