South Sebastopol Development, Bevan’s Lane, Cwmbran 26 December 2019

This is the flight of steps leading from the new canal bridge down to Bevan’s Lane. The leading edges are trimmed with a yellow, non slip strip. All very good, except that raised about a quarter of an inch, the strips act like a dam, trapping water on the steps. If heavy rain were followed by freezing conditions, these steps would become lethal.
