Alle Saline di Trapani ci saranno stati 42°, se non 43. L'aria assorbita dal sale e dalla luce. Ah! La Luce. Quella che solo al sud si può vedere (e non sempre è un bel vedere), sembravano essere un patimento persino dell'anima. Eppure anche così questo resta un luogo magico e non solo per me.
Se mai verrete in Sicilia, questo posto ha l'obbligo di una visita, come fosse il Duomo di Monreale o la Cappella Palatina. Perché è un monumento innalzato alla Natura. Un omaggio alla maestria dell'uomo, uno struggente momento del cuore.
At the Saline di Trapani there will have been 42 degrees, if not 43. The air absorbed by salt and light. Ah! The light. What can only be seen in the south (and is not always a pretty sight) seemed to be a pain even for the soul. Yet even so this remains a magical place and not just for me.
If you ever come to Sicily, this place has a must to visit, as it was the Cathedral of Monreale or the Palatine Chapel. Because it is a monument raised to Nature. A tribute to man's mastery, a poignant moment of the heart.
