Europe's oldest residential street, in England's smallest city
14th century Vicars Close in Wells. An architectural gem. And a random little girl obligingly ran into my shot and tripped on the cobbles, in precisely the right spot. Vicars Close is just across the road from Wells cathedral. Lovely as the cathedral is, this street impressed me more.
