Alcedo atthis with prey

I went with my cousin on a spot to observe kingfishers. It was the first time that I saw this wonderful bird in wildlife and it was absolutely an amazing experience. There was a even couple of them that had a nest below a fallen trunk and they were frequently flying out to catch prey.

Unfortunately, I was sitting 30cm too far to left to get an optimal shot. There was a bush inbetween that led to the green blur in the front. Next time I will find a better place :)
