Im Sommer des Jahres 2022 konnte die S-Rail gehörende 111 057-6 als "Stammlok" auf den Verstärkerzügen der RE-Linie 1 zwischen München und Nürnberg bezeichnet werden. Anlass war das völlig unerwartete und daher auch natürlich nicht vorhersehbare hohe Fahrgastaufkommen durch das sog. €9-Ticket seitens der Regierung in Berlin. Die Fotografen allerdings erfreuten sich an der bunten Abwechslung und so konnte die schöne Lok samt RE 59673 bei Vierkirchen im Dachauer Hinterland fotografiert werden.
In the summer of 2022, 111 057-6, which belongs to S-Rail, could be called the "main locomotive" on the booster trains on RE line 1 between Munich and Nuremberg. The reason for this was the completely unexpected and therefore unforeseeable high number of passengers due to the so-called €9 ticket initiated by the government in Berlin. The photographers, however, enjoyed the colorful variety and thus the beautiful locomotive hauling RE 59673 could be photographed near Vierkirchen in the Dachau region.
