Not even 5 minutes after pulling up to Blue Island Junction, and I got a gut feeling to go check all the signals. Just as I did that, this BA9 (I think) came around the curve and under the Rock with 3802 up front.
Pretty typical of my luck to stumble upon this, and also pretty typical for my luck that 3802 started puking smoke just after passing the crossing, making for a dramatic undocumented scene. God, I wish I knew about Francisco 10 minutes before…
