New era for the second Kingston to Heathrow link begins with a mixed bunch of temporary loaned diesels before the new allocation arrives. | Abellio London ADL Enviro 400 Trident on the 285 to Heathrow Central.
Abellio took control of the 285 on Saturday and have started off with a lot of different diesels as temporary loans. Some ex-Park Royal London United diesels and ex-Battersea diesels (some still with the old Travel London interior) make up the current batch making for an interesting start.
I did see one new smart-hybrid bus on driver training duties for the route but I suppose Fulwell (TF) want to wait until all of them are delivered before entry into service.
So far, the service has been pretty good; no obvious curtailments although my bus was held at Harlington Road for some reason. Still hate those dreaded announcements, sounds like the voice is stuttering.
LF59XDZ (9504) is at Feltham Station on a service from Cromwell Road Bus Station to Heathrow Central via Teddington and Feltham.
