American Bittern hunting

the American Bittern is a secretive marsh bird that eats fish, frogs, and other marsh dwelling invertebrates. I was fortunate to run into this bird out in the open at Viera Wetlands in Florida. The video was taken with a small Leica D-Lux 4 camera point & shoot camera through a Leica APO Televid 82 mm spotting scope!
