Olympic National Park

"Deep, Deep, Deep! Just returned from 18 days of backpacking deep into Olympic National Park. What an experience to be deep in the wilderness for so long. This particular photo is shot approximately 23 miles from the car. In all I hiked 174 miles in 17 days with something like 29,000 feet of elevation gain and loss with an average pack of 55-60lbs...Let’s just say I got worked. But so worth it. The next day as we continued on this loop, we saw 6 bears in one hike! I am back in my Edmonds Gallery for a couple of days, then it is off to teach my 2 sold out classes at Mt Rainier. Back to the wilderness! Thank you so much for looking!
