Finally Home Sweet Home

A long journey arriving in America. To be exact N.W. Georgia. Here it is still summer heat and allergy season as well. I did have a horrible experience once I arrived in the local post

office. That place had to be a hundred years old. I arrived late Friday and could not be delivered. The night was long, dark and creepy. It was quite a hot , stuffy night and all I could hear were mice about hopping boxes, ripping open packages. I was quite frightened they would get to me. I've heard they can chew right through anything they want to get into. All I knew was Ukraine and never once thought I'd be wrapped in many layers of bubble wrap. It was somewhat see through, however, quite suffocating. It became early dawn when I hear a metal door go up... voices abound, trucks being started all awhile I sit and wait for my own departure. It was after a period of a few hours I found I was hopping on the truck of the most mean postal driver ever. I figured more than likely I would ride all day in a bumpity bump truck before arriving at my destination. Sure enough I was correct. My new home actually had no one there to sign for my delivery.. I screeched , "oh no." not another night in the post office.

Oh, and that it was as, I quickly became so depressed. I lay over another day which was the Lord's day and I figured there was reason for all of this. Sure enough one has to learn patience in their life for which I never have had . I learned to be content in my little box as Monday wouldn't have to be a meh kind of day. I would meet Cricket and my new home.

Here it is Monday, I'm forgotten. I just know I am to be at my home by now. As fate would have it, Cricket came looking for me when I was not delivered to her home as expected. She couldn't bear me staying another night in that old old post office.

I cannot tell you how very exhilarating it was for my box to finally be picked up to go to my new home.

The man at the service desk was grateful to hand me over. I know he couldn't have known just how grateful I was so didn't quite understand his kindness., none the less Cricket anxiously grabbed the box and toted off to her ride. I heard her say every good woman carries a knife. She immediately ripped into my box and unrolled and unrolled all the bubblewrap. Whew, I then took a deep breath . It was the most fresh breath ever. We quickly went straight home to begin our adventures. Did I say?, "I love America?" So glad to be here and share my adventures with you.
