drops of rain make a hole in the stone not by violence, but by oft falling..

The droplet at the end of the tendril spiraling down from the sky was less than a quarter-inch across.. So how small was the droplet on the spider web running right through the center of the spiral, looking like a tiny silver moon orbiting the bigger wet green planet.. And it's hard to see, but there's yet a smaller droplet just at the edge of the loop.. Smaller and smaller worlds...

S'pose there are microbes living on the surface that Waterworld, falling in love, raising babies, and gazing at their silver moon in the sky? ..sighing ..oblivious to the fact that their world may fall from it's perch at any moment...
