"Why.. Can't I.. Be satisfied?"
So this is the hibiscus opening pretty much from the beginning, using the "hyperlapse" function on my Samsung "device".. Still not satisfied though. The full hyperlapse video is actually something like 35 minutes long, so I squeezed it down and added some music (which FaceBitch won't let you do because of copyright issues..) to make it a little nicer.
If it causes someone to be exposed to some music they would NEVER have heard or appreciated, or possibly even purchased, I call that a fair trade all around. It's The Amazing Rhythm Aces, and the name of the tune is "Why Can't I Be Satisfied".
I'm not excited about the way the wind causes shaking in the video, because it's distracting, and I wish the hyperlapse function was adjustable to catch different kinds of events in a reasonable amount of time. The hibiscus opens in about an hour, start to finish. That's very different from clouds scooting across the sky, or the sun going down. But it'll do for now.
