There's just something so promising about a bunch of buds just busting out, ready to bloom all at once.. These Lily of the Nile only bloom once a year, but like all things worthy - it's worth the wait.
The only unfortunate thing is that they open unannounced, and if you aren't paying attention, you could miss it. Kinda like those perfect summer mornings when you could be inside watching TV or cruising your phone - or you could be outside enjoying the brief, cool morning in early summer..
No one is going to tell you to go outside and enjoy the day, except the memory of your mother telling you, just as she did a thousand times. And no one loves you like your mother, so you really should listen..
