If looks could kill..

And I suppose sometimes they do. If you're a grub or a bug or anything else these guys eat, this might be the last thing you see.. But I'm fairly safe.

I tapped on the glass and told him "Watch who you're giving the stink-eye, buddy.. That's my apple tree you're sitting in, and I'm the one who keeps this part of the yard wild for you.."

 

It's never been easier to get into debt than it is right now. Students are encouraged to accept staggering amounts of "student loans" - as if it wasn't real debt. It's "just student loans".. Everybody does it.

 

So they often graduate (or don't..) with tens of thousands of dollars' worth of student loans. And then suddenly, they start having to pay on that debt, and it all becomes real.. Turns out it's real debt.. And they want real money.. Your money.

 

Small wonder the idea of 'forgiving' student loan debt is such a popular one among certain circles. And by 'forgiving', they mean pay off the banks with YOUR money..

 

Small wonder that idea is so UNpopular among certain other circles. Like people who worked their butts off to pay off their own student loans, or worked their way through college without them..

 

And people who have paid their own way through life, only to see their hard-earned prosperity being stolen by those who haven't..
