I've been struggling with posting this picture for a while. I don't really like it because the winter sun is so damn harsh, and not exactly flattering. But - I've also been struggling with taking pictures at all, so I guess that's what I get for not getting out there and taking better pictures. So - this is what you get for today. And a quote that reminds me of the SOTU speech last night, in which billions upon billions of dollars of new taxes and new spending were proposed.. Where in the world people get the idea that Democrats are the party of "tax and spend", I just can't imagine...
And the second part of the quote hit home, listening to the preliminary report from the 'black boxes' from the Air Asia plane that went down. Apparently the pilots pulled the plane up and into a stall trying to escape severe weather, and fell into the sea in an unstoppable dive from 30,000 feet. I don't know about when the plane took off, but I bet there wasn't a single atheist on the plane by the time it hit the water.. God rest their souls..
