31205 & 31208 Langwith 11th February 1984
31205 & 31208 on the 1Z26 Plymouth to Linby special on Saturday the 11th of February 1984. The train is emerging from Shirebrook to Langwith cutting at the Langwith end. The concrete structure on the left is the remains of Shirebrook Junctions Up Distant signal’s “Fogging Hut”. No other trains were booked to run on this day so I ventured into the cutting for my one and only shot from this location. The bridge that the train is passing under is the one I stood on to take several of my photos.
