Hoodia--Bushman's Hat
A specimen of Hoodia gordonii, aka Bushman's Hat, in the Tucson Botanical Gardens. Native to South Africa, Botswana, and Nambia, it's flowers smell like rotting meat and the flowers are pollinated by flies. Heavily collected, to the point of endangerment, for use in weight-loss supplements, the claims of which have been debunked.
