The Storm Manipulator
The reason that this photo came about is because I wanted my surreal photo to be creepy and interesting. I wanted the background of my surreal photo to be a lightning background in the sky to make it look like my subject; which is the person; look like he was levitating or flying. I also wanted my subject to look like he was manipulating the storm, so when I was taking the picture of him I made him put his hands up as if he were controlling a storm. To make the photo look more realistic I added random things that were unnecessary but looked funny. I took a picture of a tree and a trash can, I got my background and the damaged tree on the right side of the photo from google. I cropped the person out of the photo I took of him and put in the storm where the lighting would be bright enough to see him. Next, I took the eyedropper tool to get the color of the storm, then I took the paint bucket tool and colored the person (Adi) to make him blend in the photo. Then I took the picture of a trash can and used the quick selection tool and copied and pasted it to the background sides ways to make it look like the trash can was coming to Adi; I same thing to both of the trees. Finally, I added a color filter to make the image look more creepy, the background used to be blue but I changed it to more of a dark orange. This was one of my more interesting photo that I ever edited.
