Mandarin Ente / Mandarin Duck

Diese Ente kennen wir bereits aus meinem Foto der Mandarinentenpaarung vom März diesen Jahres. Während der Paarung waren die Federn der Ente wohl etwas durcheinandergeraten und mussten wieder an den richtigen Platz gerüttelt werden. Dazu tauchte die Ente ein paarmal unter und schüttelte sich dann aus. Dabei entstand das heutige Foto.

 

We already know this duck from my photo of the mating mandarin ducks photo in March this year. During mating, the duck's feathers got a bit dishevelled and needed to be shaken back into place. To do this, the duck bobed in the water a few times and then flapped her wings. At this moment I could take today's picture.
