landender Grünfink / landing Green Finch

Bestimmte Situation laufen in der Vogelwelt immer so schnell ab, dass Mensch sie kaum wahrnimmt. Erst seit ich Vögel fotografiere weiß ich, dass sie ziemlich oft zunächst auf einem Bein landen. Eingefroren in einem Foto sieht dieser Moment wie ich finde sehr elegant aus. Fast wie ein Tanz. Zum Vergleich siehe auch dieses Foto einer landenden Nilgans.

Komp. Info: Normalerweise mache ich um die Mittagszeit keine Fotos weil mir bei hartem Licht die Kontraste nicht gefallen. Bei diesem Bild war die Beleuchtung trotz Sonnenhöchststand anders: es zogen Regenwolken über das Land und die gleißende Sonne wurde immer wieder durch Wolken gedimmt und das Licht gestreut. Das habe ich mir zunutze gemacht um ein gleichmäßiger ausgeleuchtetes Foto zu bekommen.

 

Certain situations in the bird world always happen so quickly that humans hardly notice them. Only ever since I started photographing birds, I've known that quite often they like to land on one leg first. I think this moment looks very elegant when frozen in a photo. Almost like dancing. Comp. info: I don't normally take photos at midday because I don't like the contrasts in harsh light. The lighting was different for this picture: rain clouds were moving across the area and the glistening sun was repeatedly dimmed and the light scattered by clouds. I took advantage of that to get a photo with a more soft light.
