Rotkehlchen im Schilf / Robin in the reeds / in explore 20240111
Mein erstes Foto aus 2025 habe ich wieder von einem Spaziergang am Ortsrand mitgebracht. Ich wollte Zaunkönige fotografieren, die ich im Schilf erspäht hatte aber sie waren schüchtern und haben sich nicht hervorgetraut. Unerwartet kam dann das kecke Rotkehlchen angeflogen. Es setzte sich dicht bei mir auf einen umgebogenen Halm und posierte. So eine Gelegenheit nehme ich immer gerne an. Die Komposition ist nichts besonderes. Mit mit einen Schritt seitwärts habe ich mich so positioniert, dass keine ablenkenden Elemente vor, hinter oder seitlich des Rotkehlchens zu sehen sind. Es wendet sich mir zu und wir haben Blickkontakt. Beim Nachbearbeiten habe ich dann nur noch den Ausschnitt so gewählt, dass der Sitzhalm links unten ins Eck läuft.
My first photo from 2025 is again from a walk on the outskirts of my village. Originally I wanted to take images of wrens that I had spotted in the reeds, but they were shy and didn't dare come out. Then, unexpectedly, the cheeky robin flew by. It sat down close to me on a bent reed that was hanging over the ditch and posed. Of course, I didn't need to be asked twice and took a few shots. The composition itself is nothing special. By taking a step to the side, I positioned myself so that no distracting elements could be seen in front of, behind or to the side of the robin. It is turning to me and we make eye contact. When editing, I only cropped the frame so that the perch ran into the bottom left corner.
