Glückliches Neues Jahr / Happy New Year
Das letzte Foto in meinem Fotostream von 2024 zeigt eine Kegelrobbe am Strand von Helgoland Düne. Dem einen oder anderen wird auffallen, dass es ausnahmsweise im Hochformat daherkommt. Der Grund ist einfach, ich hatte an diesem Tag nur mein 150-600mm Tele dabei und habe keinen anderen Blickwinkel gefunden, in welchem ich Robbe und Regenbogen gemeinsam schön ins Bild bekomme. Ich habe innerlich ziemlich geflucht, dass ich das Weitweinkelobjektiv im Hotel gelassen hatte. Wie gerne hätte ich die Robbe unter dem kompletten Regenbogen abgelichtet. So erinnert mich das Foto jetzt an eine verpasste Gelegenheit. Vielleicht klappt es ja im nächsten Jahr...
The last photo in my photo stream of 2024 shows a grey seal on the beach at Heligoland Dune. Some of you will notice that it is in portrait format for once. The reason is simple, I only had my 150-600mm telephoto lens with me that day and couldn't find any other angle from which I could get the seal and the rainbow together nicely in the picture. I cursed inside that I had left the wide-angle lens in the hotel. How I would have loved to photograph the seal under the complete rainbow. So the photo now reminds me of a missed opportunity. Hopefully there will be a new opportunity in the next year...
