Stieglitz (♀) im Apfelbaum / Goldfinch (♀) in an apple tree

Heute mal wieder ein Blick ins Wohnzimmer der Singvögel: sie sitzen gerne in einem Baum wo sie geschützt vor Blicken und/oder Angreifern sind. Man kann sie dabei oft hören, weil sie mit ihren Artgenossen ständig kommunizieren aber wenn man sie sehen will, dann braucht man ein kleines Fenster durch die Blätter und Ästchen hindurch. Beim fotografieren führt das oft zu Schwierigkeiten weil der Vogel nicht so gut freigestellt werden kann. Hier hatte ich Glück, dass der Stieglitz vollständig zu sehen ist. Außerdem hört er die Kamera und wirft mir einen prüfenden Blick zu.

 

Today we'll take another look into the songbirds' living room: they like to sit in a tree where they are protected from eyes and/or attackers. You can often hear them because they are constantly communicating with their peers, but if you want to see them, you need a small window through the leaves and twigs. This often leads to difficulties when taking photos because the bird cannot be seen entirely. Here I was lucky that the goldfinch was fully visible. It also hears the camera and checks out what is going on.
