Eisvogel ♀ / Kingfisher ♀

Diese Aufnahme ist eine aus meiner ersten oder zweiten Sitzung mit dieser Eisvogeldame. Sie entstand relativ früh am Morgen und die tief stehende Wintersonne läßt die blauen Federn hier türkis leuchten. Ob das mit dem Einfallswinkel des Sonnenlichts oder mit der Lichtfarbe zusammenhängt (oder mit beidem gleichzeitig) habe ich noch nicht herausgefunden. Bei den meisten anderen Gelegenheiten sehen die blauen Federn des Eisvogels in meinen Fotos auch blau aus. In türkis gefällt mir der Eisvogel aber auch sehr.

 

This shot is one from my first or second session with this female kingfisher. It was taken relatively early in the morning and the low winter sun makes the blue feathers here shine turquoise. I haven't yet found out whether this has to do with the angle of incidence of the sunlight or with the colour of the light (or both at the same time). On most other occasions the kingfisher's blue feathers also look blue in my photos. I also really like the kingfisher in turquoise.
