Fisch zum Frühstück II / Fish for breakfast II

Wie schon beim ersten Foto gestern erwähnt ist der Kormoran mit seiner Beute leider immer weiter weggeschwommen während er versucht hat den Fisch in einen für den Verzehr passenden Zustand zu bringen. Dabei ist er permanent komplett ins Wasser eingetaucht und hat den Flussbarsch nach dem Wiederauftauchen wild geschüttelt. Ich weiss nicht was genau das Ziel bei diesem Vorgehen ist, denn ertränken funktioniert bei einem Fisch natürlich eher schlecht. Der Flussbarsch konnte der Situation bestimmt nichts abgewinnen, aber das Schauspiel im Gegenlicht war grandios. Tausende Wassertropfen in allen Schärfeebenen funkeln im Gegenlicht und erzeugen diese besondere Stimmung in der Morgenkühle. Das Foto hat sie eingefroren, in der Realität war das kaum zu sehen weil die Tropfen nur Sekunden in der Luft waren. Deshalb habe ich auch dieses Foto für meinen Stream ausgewählt, obwohl mir der Kormoran eigentlich schon zu weit weg ist.

 

As mentioned in the first photo yesterday, the cormorant unfortunately swam further and further away with its prey while it tried to get the fish into a condition suitable for consumption. He was constantly completely submerging in the water and shook the perch wildly after it resurfaced. I don't know what exactly the goal is with this approach, because drowning obviously doesn't work well with a fish. The perch certainly couldn't help the situation, but the spectacle in the backlight was magnificent. Thousands of water drops in all focus levels sparkle in the backlight and create this special atmosphere in the cool of the morning. The photo froze them, but in reality it was hardly visible because the drops were only in the air for only seconds. That's why I chose this photo for my photo stream, even though the cormorant is actually too far away for my liking.
