Eigentlich sollte am Ende des Sommers Nahrung im Überfluss zur Verfügung stehen. Pech für den Hasen, dass das nur für Menschen stimmt. Er (wie die meisten anderen Wildtiere auch) muss sich damit begnügen, was die Erntemaschinen übrig gelassen haben. Ich denke, das erklärt den leicht vorwurfsvollen Blick.
Info zum Bild: Auch Hasen werden erst gegen Ende des Tages wieder aktiv und gehen auf Futtersuche. Das ist eigentlich gut für uns Tierfotografen, weil dann die Tiere aktiver sind und das Licht schöner ist. Die tiefstehende Sonne bringt dafür andere Probleme mit sich. Z.B. waren durch die Verschattung von Bäumen am Feldrand einige Stellen des Felds in hellem Licht, andere im Schatten. Wenn so eine hell-dunkel Grenze mitten durchs Bild oder gar durch das Objekt läuft wirkt das Foto hinterher oft nicht so attraktiv weil der Helligkeitsunterschied das Auge ablenkt. Bei meiner Aufnahme hatte ich Glück, der Hase sitzt zwischen zwei Baumschatten in einem Bereich, der vollständig von der Sonne beschienen wird. Wäre er vollständig im Schatten wäre das auch in Ordnung gewesen. Allerdings wären dann Schärfe und Farbe nicht so gut herausgekommen.
Um das Bild besonders detailreich sehen zu können, drückt die Tasten l (kleines L) und F11. Beim vergrößern nur durch Anklicken gehen euch viele Details verloren.
Food should actually be available in abundance at the end of summer. Unfortunately for the rabbit, that's only true for humans. It (like most other wild animals) has to make do with what the harvesters left behind. I think that explains the slightly reproachful look.
Information about the picture: Rabbits also only become active again towards the end of the day and go searching for food. This is actually good for us animal photographers because the animals are more active and the light is nicer in the evening. The low angle of the sun brings with it other problems. For example, due to the shading of some trees at the edge of the field, some parts of the field were in bright light, others in shadow. When a light-shadow border runs through the middle of the picture or even worse through the object, it often doesn't look very attractive because it distracts the eye. I was lucky when I took the photo; the rabbit is sitting between two of those tree shadows in an area that is completely illuminated by the sun. If it had sat completely in the shade that would have been fine too. However, the sharpness and color would not have come out as well.
