It's all about the light...
Hausrotschwanz (♀) / Common Redstart (♀)
Dieses Jahr brütet (zumindest Stand Mitte Mai) kein Hausrotschwanz bei mir im Garten. Das Weibchen auf dem Foto brütet bei meinem Nachbarn, auf dessen Apfelbaum ich es im April an einem kalten und regnerischen Tag erwischt habe. Weil es an diesem Tag so dunkel war hatte ich statt der 7DII mal wieder meine 5DIII ausgepackt. Die Farben und die Auflösung der beiden Kameras sind ziemlich identisch, aber im direkten Vergleich gefallen mir die Bilder mit dem Vollformatsensor der 5DIII immer besser als die mit dem Canon APS-C Sensor der 7DII.
Um das Bild besonders detailreich sehen zu können, drückt die Tasten l (kleines L) und F11. Beim vergrößern nur durch Anklicken gehen viele Details verloren.
This year (at least as of mid-May) there are no black redstarts breeding in my garden. The female redstart in the photo breeds at my neighbour's house, on whose apple tree I caught her on a cold and rainy day in April. Because it was so dark that day, I unpacked my 5DIII instead of the 7DII. The colors and resolution of the two cameras are pretty much identical, but in direct comparison I always like the images with the full-frame sensor of the 5DIII better than those with the Canon APS-C sensor of the 7DII.
To view the lady with the best resolution in full screen press the "l" (small L) and F11 keys. When enlarging the pic by just mouse clicking you lose quality. Enjoy!
