Basstölpel mit Küken / Northern gannet with fledgling
Diese Aufnahme stammt von meinem kleinen Helgolandausflug Mitte August diesen Jahres. Die Probleme bei der Belichtung hatte ich ja bei der Profilaufnahme des Basstölpel neulich schon beschrieben, die Helligkeitsunterschiede zwischen hellen und dunklen Partien waren echt heftig. Aber was ist eine schwierige Belichtung im Vergleich zu einer Vogelgrippe? Als ich dort war ging sie gerade erst los, das große Sterben kam zwei, drei Wochen später. Ich hoffe, dass genügend Tölpel und Lummen auf Helgoland überlebt haben, so dass sie dort auch im nächsten Jahr wieder zu bewundern sind.
Um das Bild besonders detailreich sehen zu können, drückt die Tasten l (kleines L) und F11. Beim vergrößern nur durch Anklicken gehen viele Details verloren.
This image was taken on my short trip to Heligoland in mid-August this year. I had described the problems with the exposure in the post with the portrait of the gannet already, the contrast of bright and dark areas was really a challenge. But what is a difficult exposure compared to an avian flu? When I was there, it was just beginning, the great death came two or three weeks later. I hope that enough gannets and guillemots have survived on Heligoland so that they can be admired there again next year.
