Junge Kohlmeise im Apfelbaum / young Great Tit in an apple tree

Dies ist wahrscheinlich eine meiner "bequemsten" Singvogelaufnahmen bisher. Ich habe einfach aus einem Fenster heraus fotografiert. Gegenüber stehen ein paar Apfelbäume und die jungen Meisen toben den ganzen Tag durch die Zweige. Sie sammeln alles ab, was irgendwie essbar ist. Weil sie mit der Umgebung so vertraut sind, kommt man leicht dicht an sie heran. In gewisser Weise fungiert das Haus dann wie ein grosses, komfortables Fotoversteck, dass sogar noch den Vorteil hat dass die weisse Hauswand das Licht reflektiert und die Kontraste im Baum verringert. Natürlich entstehen aus diesem Standort wieder andere Schwierigkeiten, z.B. wenn die Meise wie hier in der Mitte des Baumes unterwegs ist und man sowohl den Autofokuspunkt durch Blätter und Ästchen dirigieren muss während man darauf achtet, dass das Motiv nicht durch diese (unscharfen) Objekte verdeckt wird.

 

This is probably one of the "laziest" bird images I have taken so far. I took this picture simply out of the window. There are some apple trees in front of it and the young Tits are scurrying through the branches in search for anything they can feed from. Because the birds are used to this environment they come pretty close. To some respect the house works as a huge foto hide with the bonus effect that the white wall works as a giant foto reflector which reduces the contrast in the tree. This place causes other difficulties though. For once it is tricky to get the autofocus point through the leaves and little branches onto the birds eye while second the motive must not be obstructed by those leaves and branches which might not be visible in the viewfinder.
