Raccoon On The Beach

While exploring the beach adjacent to the Cape Blanco Lighthouse on the Oregon coast, I ran into this young raccoon who was having a meal which it had either killed or found. Couldn't tell for sure what it was, but probably a bird. It seemed wary of my presence, but allowed me to get sufficiently close to get several up close and personal photos.
