The Imperial Hall, Newark.

This fairly nondescript doorway in Baldertongate, Newark, was once the entrance to the large Imperial Building that lies behind and above it. That building was different things over the years, a billiard hall, dance hall, a large meeting venue amongst others.

 

An interesting little stained glass piece above the door as well.
