St.Swithuns Church, Retford, Nottinghamshire.

The earliest records of a church on this spot date from the 13C but the church that we know now as St. Swithuns is mostly from the rebuilding in the 1650s after the old tower had collapsed in 1651. It appears to have been completed with the new tower in 1658. In 1810 the parapets and pinnacles were added on.

It is a grade II listed (protected) building.
