Night in Reus

This sanctuary was built in the late sixteenth century, because, according to a story, a twenty-fifth of September, the Virgin appeared to a shepherdess, who prayed to the Virgin, to end the plague that ravaged the city. It was expanded in the middle of the seventeenth century, is Renaissance style, and the clock, which is seen on the facade, dating from the nineteenth century. It is a place that can go unnoticed for tourists or people who come to know the city of Reus, but it is a place to walk and to go jogging and sports for the inhabitants of the city, as this sanctuary is located at the end of a large walk with trees, it is also a tradition that the citizens of Reus, marry in this sanctuary.

Se amplió, a mediados, del siglo XVII, es de estilo renacentista, y el reloj, que se ve en la fachada, data del siglo XIX. Es un lugar, que puede pasar, desapercibido, para los turistas o gente que viene a conocer, la ciudad de Reus, pero es un lugar, de paseo y para salir a correr y practicar deporte, para los habitantes de la ciudad, ya que, este santuario, se encuentra, al final, de una gran paseo con árboles, además es una tradición, que los ciudadanos de Reus, se casen en este santuario.
