Dandelions ..... Dientes de león.

Photography, of a few dandelions, waiting for a breeze of wind, to start their journey.

Many poems have been dedicated to this plant, which has many medicinal and edible uses.

On the other hand, it is a plant, with good beekeeping interest, where the bees never miss and always visit its flowers, giving a good amount of nectar and pollen, pollinating the flowers and giving origin to the seeds, which are the dandelions.

The origin of its name, seems to go back to the 16th century, when the doctor and botanist Leonhart Duch, prescribed the (Taraxacum officinale) to his patients for different ailments, taking of measure a part to which he called it tooth, from then on, the people who authorized themselves or recommended to others, that they took "N" teeth of the plant of the doctor Leonhart, for what with the time it ended up being called "Dandelion".
