La Salve
En esta foto, la he pasado en blanco y negro. También he querido, darle contraste a la imagen, he sacado la torre del campanario, la cuál me parece muy bonita. Es una Basílica fantástica, que merece una visita siempre, que se visite Bilbao. Hay un barrio, de la ciudad, al que le dio un nombre, "La Salve". Cuenta la historia, que los marineros, al subir por la ría y ver las torres del templo, le rezaban un salve, para agradecer a la virgen, que les protegiera durante sus rutas por el mar. Es un templo, que ha sufrido varias guerras, sin embargo, ha aguantado y ha sido y sigue siendo un símbolo importante de la ciudad de Bilbao.
In this photo, I've been through it in black and white. I also wanted to contrast the image, I have taken out the bell tower, which I find very beautiful. It is a fantastic Basilica, which deserves a visit always, that you visit Bilbao. There's a neighborhood, the city, that gave it a name, "La Salve". It tells the story, that the sailors, as they climbed the estuary and saw the towers of the temple, prayed a salve, to thank the virgin, to protect them during their routes across the sea. It is a temple, which has suffered several wars, however, it has endured and has been and continues to be an important symbol of the city of Bilbao.
