The brick-built canopy was fairly easy to build, but required a number of 1x2x2/3 curved slopes in trans-clear, which at the time only were released in two sets. Between this model and a few other works in progress, I ended up buying out over 80% of the world's supply on bricklink at the time, though more quickly filled the void.
