Some NGOs have funded the construction of infrastructure, particularly aimed at literacy training for rural populations. However, some of these standard-looking buildings have been converted for other uses. In the case of Ouona, the literacy centre in the early 2010s housed a video club that showed films or allowed viewers to watch football matches via Canal Sat.

Ces bâtiments d'architecture standard ont toutefois pour certains été reconvertis à d'autres usages.
