Auditorium Theatre, a National Historic Landmark, is one of the amazing places in Chicago. Built in 1889, It turned 130 this year. I just learned that it won 2019 Outstanding Historic Theatre Award from The League of Historic American Theatres, and thought about celebrating this award with this relatively old photo of mine. I fell in love with the architecture, culture, charisma and character of this place when I first visited Chicago in 2011.
