Winged Kirin, or Qilin (有翼の麒麟).
The Kirin, in different depictions, is a mythological, cosmogonical creature betwixt and between the dragon, the ox or deer, the horse and perhaps (sans doute) the giraffe too: " Le nom Xiezhi, donné au nom d’espèce de Discokeryx, est celui d’un animal mythologique chinois appartenant aux Qilins. Si les Qilins ont souvent une morphologie composite, constituée à partir de plusieurs animaux, certains peuvent être interprétés comme des représentations de girafes actuelles ou fossiles. With 50 cm square size/110 g weight.
Hard to fold with this paper size and grammage proportion.
In this test, I learned that the most difficult part to do accurately and well was that of the wings.
