Being born a woman
It brings with it many challenges. I feel responsible for all women who spend their lives struggling, often feeling tied.When I saw this statue, it made me think of all these things, maybe the person who put it there has completely different feelings, but these are the things it made me think of. The statue stands there and watches the people passing by, eavesdrops on the conversations going on right next to it and has to remain silent. Yet its very existence there is like a shout in itself.
I prefer to show her against a red background so I tend to show the woman's anger. I also think every woman who pursues her passions has a little bit of red in her.The statue appears in pitch black, like a flash exploding with this edit, I like to show it in this state.
I hope that the voices of all women who have been abused, harassed, raped, subjected to physical and psychological violence since birth, and whose suffering has been ignored, will be heard in this way.
