Rita Glad "The Fall of the Rebel Angel" exhibition

Exhibition End: March 16

Hello again, my dear friends, after a long time.

The photography exhibition "The Fall of the Rebel Angel" is about the Man-Faith-Punishment triangle. Inspired by the sculpture "The Fall of the Rebel Angels" designed by the Italian sculptor Agostino Fasolato around 1740, I wanted to question the effect of the association of Rebellion with "Evil" in belief systems on the "taming" of humans in social life.

Even though the images I use seem to indicate a belief, they are actually symbolic. And our dear art-loving visitors are free to internalize the characters in the images by replacing them with the "symbols" they wish. I think we have all had a "moment" in our lives when we expressed our opinions outside of general discourse and were somehow excluded from the social group we were in, labeled and punished with bullying in some way.

I present the exhibition 'The Fall of the Rebel Angel' to all rebellious souls.

With love and respect, Rita Glad
