Electroputere LDE 2100 - 06 108
On November 6, an official ceremony was held at the Gyueshevo station in Bulgaria to sign contracts with the Republic of Macedonia to connect the two countries by rail. Although these plans were conceived over 100 years ago, Macedonia is still the only country with which we, from Bulgaria, do not have a rail connection. On this occasion, BDZ launched a special train from Sofia to Gyueshevo with an Electroputere LDE 2100 locomotive and carriages from Tsarist Bulgaria to transport the Minister of Transport, employees of the Ministry of Transport and employees of the European Central Bank. On the Kyustendil - Gyueshevo line, regular trains run only 3 days a week, 2 trains in each direction. For 20 years, only Siemens Desiro has been running on this line, so it is extremely interesting to film something different there.
